I am new to this stuff, I had a part time job during the summer and my tax return mail just came in.
1)How come there is Copy C, Copy 2, Copy B, and Copy 2 all with the same information on it?
2)Also the sections with money amount filled in are
“wages,tips, other comp.”
“social security wages”
“Medicare wages and tips”
“Fed income tax withheld”
“soc. Sec. tax withheld”
“medicare tax withheld”

Basic question which on of these sections lists the amount I will be reciveing I am assuming it is the “withheld” ones.. BTW These 2 are my only question

If the amount in Box 1 is under $ 5950, you can have the amount in Box 2 refunded to you.

Boxes 4 and 6 are taxes that you paid that are not refundable.
