Q&A: What Is Nonemployee Compensation on 1099?

Question by oongoy: What Is Nonemployee Compensation on 1099?
Im asking such a silly question because I really dont know enough about taxes. But Im trying to get financial aid for school and its asking “what was you adjusted gross income for 2010?” and then “how much did you earn from working?”

Is the answer to both of those the sum of my employee compensation on my 1099′s?

PLEASE HELP IM CLUELESS!

Thank you!

The answer to the second question would be the sum of your employee compensation, yes. Your Adjusted Gross Income is found on your tax return.
